It's pop girly summer and I am deep in it. If you were like me and Espresso then Please, Please, Please had you in a chokehold, Taste is your next fixation. The entire 'Recent Obsessions' series was born from my habit of becoming so obsessed with a song that I would put it on constant repeat, absorb all the emotion out of it, then move on to the next one. (and maybe a similar past dating habit but that will be our secret) Just when I was tired of Espresso Carpenter gave me Please, and just when I sucked all the dopamine out of Please she gave me Taste. If somehow you haven't heard it yet go do that immediately.
I've been listening to Hurdle for years so this isn't a new one on my radar but this week I was mentioned when she answered my listener question and it had me freaking out. Yes, I understand she answers someone's question every week but that didn't stop me from completely fan girling. Emily is an absolute gem who consistently delivers real, vulnerable content on her own life. Not to mention a wealth of information in interviews with wellness professionals and entrepreneurs. If you are interested in wellness, business, or making your obstacles in life your bitch, she's your girl.
After a weekend of travelling my skin is going through it right now. Use me for my experience, save yourself the time and money, these are the only pimple patches worth your money. They don't suck stuff out they just really calm the whole situation down, which is especially helpful for stopping you from picking at your skin (a cardinal skin in the acne world). After your moisturizer soaks in apply a patch to dry skin over your blemish and leave it overnight, you'll be shocked at how much inflammation is gone the next morning.
