Wellness isn’t just a once-in-a-while indulgence, it’s something we're trying to integrate into our lifestyle. And the best part is you don’t have to overhaul your entire home or drop a small fortune to make it happen. A lot of wellness upgrades come down to reorganizing, repurposing, and slowly adding pieces that truly fit your life. It’s about making your daily habits feel indulgent and special, turning the little things, your morning coffee, the way you unwind at night, into rituals that nourish you.

One of my favorite mantras is that life isn’t about the big celebrations or once-in-a-lifetime vacations, it’s about how you spend the other 99% of your time. Your home should reflect that. It should be a place where you feel at peace, supported, and deeply well. Think off-duty model energy, high-vibrational living in a space that feels effortlessly aligned with your future self. Whether you want full-body red light therapy or just a cozy, grounding corner to recharge, this guide will help you create a living space that enhances your well-being, one small upgrade at a time. So let's start with the heart of the home, your kitchen. The goal is to make your habits so easy they're impossible to ignore, without sacrificing aesthetics or functionality.

Quality water

It's so easy to get caught up in fancy wellness gadgets and forget about the basics that truly make a difference. And the quality of your drinking water is one of the top contenders. There’s such a misconception that you need a $400 filter for it to matter, but that’s just not true. Filtering your water helps remove contaminants like chlorine, heavy metals, and bacteria, improving taste, odor, and overall safety. It also reduces exposure to harmful chemicals, supports digestion, and even promotes healthier skin. You can start with a Clearly Filtered water pitcher for a fraction of the price, it’s still highly effective and a great first step toward cleaner, healthier hydration.

Fresh herbs, fresh energy

A kitchen should feel alive and one of the simplist ways to elevate your kitchen is buy adding a little window herb garden. You could have a sunny window lined with basil, mint, thyme, and rosemary, not only do they elevate meals but they purify the air and simply bring in fresh energy, functional and beautiful.

Create a daily drink ritual

This is the epitome of making the other 99% of your life special. If you're drinking coffee, matcha, or tea daily why not make it an experience? This doesn't have to mean spending money, it might just mean reorganizing. Interior designer at The Living House, Sophie Clemson said 'if you have an awkward aclove in your kitchen that you're not sure what to do with, consider incorporating a coffee station'.

Designate a space for your morning drinks with a setup that feels intentional: a tea kettle, espresso machine, your favorite matcha, Moon Juice powders (a must see if you havent heard of them), good quality salt for electrolyte drinks, whatever makes it feel like a ritual instead of just another quick step in your day.

Make it impossible to not have a strong immune system

The key to staying healthy is keeping your immune system strong year-round, not just hitting the Vitamin C when you're already sick. Incorporating a few strategic ingredients into your daily routine can make a huge difference in how often you get sick. I don't think you have to go full Bella Hadid with a ten-step routine of vitamins, tinctures, and sea mosses, but adding one or two to your morning is a wonderful way to support your body. This could be an exract like propolis, L-Glutamine powder, ginger shots, or shilajit resin in warm water to support immune function and reduce inflammation (my favorite combo). There's also so many foods you can add into your diet that you might not expect to be immune boosters!

Glass storage

This is a step I'm currently working on: swapping out my plastic storage container for glass ones. Not only does it look incredibly elevated but it also removes a little bit more plastic from your life. Your pantry staples (rice, oats, powders, nuts, pastas) can all be stored in chic glass containers, think Goop but a little more practical.

Nontoxic cookware

It's time to start letting go of the Teflon. This is another element that you don't have to rush out the door to replace but start looking towards ceramic coated, stainless steel, and cast iron pans, wooden and silicone utensils.

Homemade nut milk

If you can't do dairy you'll love this. Milk alternatives are so easy to make at home it's crazy and they won't have any of the additives and preservatives found in the store bought ones. All you need is almonds or your choice of nut, water, a little vanilla, a blender, and a nut milk bag (the nut milk bags also work for making your own cold brew.) You can watch this little tutorial by downshiftology to see just how easy it is.

The glass changes everything

This is one of those small habits that instantly makes your life feel a little more elevated. In the afternoon or evening, pour yourself a drink in a wine glass, something fun but functional. I’m obsessed with Olipop, or you could try Kin which is packed with adaptogens, nootropics, and botanicals designed to 'boost your mood and enhance social connections,' all without the alcohol. We're going for a little natural buzz without the hangover. Taking the time to pour yourself a drink in a fancy glass turns an ordinary afternoon into a mini ritual, and trust me pair it with a playlist and it makes you feel like a different person.

Cookbooks for the life you want

The whole idea behind incorporating wellness elements into your home is to create an environment that reflects the highest, best version of yourself. Think about it: if you were already living as your dream self, what would she be cooking, eating, and experiencing? Once you get clear on that vision, start adding those elements into your daily life, and little by little, you’ll step into that version of yourself. Want to nourish your body like Gisele Bündchen? Start with her recipes. It’s about aligning your habits with the life you want, until one day you realize you’re already living it.

Mineral rich

Incorporating mineral-rich ingredients into your daily routine is one of the easiest ways to start feeling like you're glowing. Mineral deficiency is surprisingly common, with iron being one of the most widespread deficiencies in the world, according to Healthline. Deficiencies in any mineral can lead to symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, muscle cramps, weakness, brittle nails and hair, anxiety, poor sleep, frequent illness, dry skin, and slow healing. The good news is, boosting your mineral intake is simple. Try adding Himalayan salt and bone broth into your diet, shilajit resin into your morning routine, or even the Lucky Iron Fish, which enriches your food with iron as you cook.
