Finding pants long enough has been the struggle of my life. I’m 5'11", and growing up, every pair I owned left my ankles out in the cold. So, I’ve spent years tracking down brands that actually get it—35" inseams and up, without a ridiculous price tag. To save you the stress, here’s the ultimate list of where to find those elusive, long pants.
A hidden gem for tall girls, this brand offers a full range of clothing for men and women—jackets, shirts, jeans, slacks, dresses, trench coats, and pajamas. Their womens pants are the best part from sweats and jeans to jumpsuits, golf skirts, scrubs, and especially their dress pants, they’ve got tall girls covered. Designed for women 5'9" to 6'6", it’s nearly impossible to end up with high waters here. Plus, almost everything is under $100.
Abercrombie has had a major rebrand, so if you haven’t checked them out since high school, it’s time to give them another shot. Their extra-long option features a 36" inseam, and I personally own multiple pairs of the ‘90s straight-leg jeans. They’re stylish, really great quality, and right on trend—all for around $100.
Western Direction
When it comes to extra-long jeans, Western brands have the market on lock. You’ll find 36" to 38" inseams here more easily than anywhere else. Look for Cinch, Ariat, Wranglers, Rock & Roll Denim, Stetson Apparel, and Kimes Ranch. These aren’t your street-style jeans, they're going to be a more ranchy aesthetic, but they’re the kind of denim you buy once and keep forever.
Their styles lean more mature, but there are some gems if you look for them. It's a UK based brand and they offer up to 38" inseams and everything from jeans and linen pieces to pajamas, lingerie, coats, jackets, shoes, tops, dresses, maternity wear, and jumpsuits.
Buckle is just a staple for long jeans, they offer inseams up to 38", and actually told me once that they have contracts specifically with a few brands to be the sole carriers of the extra long fits. Look for top picks like BKE, Flying Monkey, and Buckle Black. Expect to spend between $70 and $100 for a the right pair of jeans.
Sky Dolls is a brand made for women 5'8" to 6'5", they’ve got everything from long inseam denim to activewear, knit sets, and even loungewear—so you’re not stuck sizing up just to get a little extra length. If you’ve been on the hunt for comfy, well-fitting pieces that actually hit where they’re supposed to, this is one to check out.
