Welcome to the Do Not DECsturb series! The last four weeks of the year often get written off with the mindset that we’ll “start fresh on January 1st.” But let’s flip the script—what if you walked into the new year already feeling accomplished, clear, and full of momentum? That’s the inspiration behind this series. Over the next four weeks, we’ll reflect on where we are, uncover and tackle limiting beliefs that might be holding us back, and begin crafting a vision for the 2025 we truly want to live.

The next phase of our series is 111 Wishes which was designed by Haley Hoffman Smith. It's very simple but it can take a minute so make sure you set a little time aside to finish the whole thing in one sitting.

How it works

To complete this exercise, all you need is something to write with and a piece of paper. Label it from 1 to 111, and then start writing down anything you desire—big or small. Go wild with this! It might feel easy at first, especially for the first 50 or so wishes, but it will start to get more challenging as you push yourself deeper. Write down anything that comes to mind, from a new blender to a dream career, a supportive partner, or even a trip to Italy.

This exercise will encourage you to dig deep and uncover desires you may have forgotten about, things you wanted when you were 8 or 18, or others you never consciously considered. It’s not just fun; it’s surprisingly revealing. When you read your list back, you’ll notice both things you talk about often— like a dream trip to Paris or a partner over six feet tall— and others that might make you pause, thinking, “I didn’t even realize I wanted that until I had to dig for it.”

Why We Do This

We do this exercise for a few key reasons. First, it’s a powerful way to manifest because you’re clearly stating what you want, and then, most likely putting the list away and forgetting about it. This is actually a huge part of manifesting— not obsessing over the details. Second, if we’re working on building momentum for 2025 we need some excitement! Imagine what your life would look like if you could wave a magic wand and—poof!—everything you wanted was yours. Money is no object, time and travel are unlimited, and you don't have to take other people's feelings into account. It’s fun to envision what your dream life could look like without any restrictions.

And you know what? I’ve been doing this exercise once a year for three plus years, and a shocking amount of things have come to fruition. (Remember that man over six feet tall?) The first step toward creating our dream lives is defining what they actually look like. What are we working toward? What kind of opportunities should we be seeking out or accepting? This exercise helps you answer those questions and get excited about the possibilities ahead.

I hope this exercise reveals some exciting and unexpected desires within you, sparking new possibilities for the year ahead. Remember, manifesting is all about clarity and excitement, so embrace the fun of this process! Keep coming back throughout December for more parts of the Do No DECsturb series as we continue to build momentum and set the stage for an incredible 2025. The best is yet to come!
